Seven students from the Lycée de Muret, in Haute-Garonne, were taken into police custody after a teacher filed a complaint.

After a civic education course, she suffered insults from a student, who has since been disciplined and indicted by the gendarmerie.

the professor was giving a civic education course on gender equality when the debate on the veil entered the conversation and caused a stir.

After insults from a student, she decided to file a complaint and several teenagers were taken into custody.

Indictment for contempt of a person holding a public service mission

During this course on October 9, a week before the assassination of Samuel Paty, four students oppose the teacher's ideas, and notably defend the application of Sharia law in certain countries.

The discussion, continued after class, spread throughout the school.

A high school student who had not attended the class decides to go and meet the teacher.

This 16-year-old student from Pierre-d'Aragon high school in Muret, near Toulouse, confronts the teacher accompanied by two other boys, and insults her violently.

The principal sanctioned the three teenagers and the high school student was subject to a deportation order by the academy.

The teacher also decided to file a complaint with the gendarmerie.

This is what led to the young woman and six high school students being taken into custody on Tuesday.

The most virulent young girl was indicted for contempt of a person holding a public service mission.
