According to Haikou's WeChat public account on the 13th, the Haikou New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters issued a notice on improving the service guarantee for personnel on the outlying islands of Haikou Meilan International Airport. Fortunately, passengers stranded in Hainan due to the epidemic will return to work in an orderly manner. According to the deployment of the Provincial Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters, after research and decision, the following measures will be implemented from August 13, 2022.
1. From August 13, the normal operation of domestic passenger flights at Haikou Meilan International Airport will be fully resumed.
2. From August 7th, passengers with a history of living in the province's epidemic-related cities, counties (districts) within 7 days, under the premise of strict health management, will perform 7-day 5-day inspections on August 13th and August 14th. (On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th days, the sampling time or the result time, the same day or one day ahead can be used.) Only after meeting the above conditions can you buy a ticket, and you can board the plane and leave the island after the airport has checked.
3. From August 7th, passengers who have no travel history in the province's epidemic-related cities, counties (districts) within 7 days, and 2 negative nucleic acid tests within 48 hours (once a day), can purchase tickets only if the above conditions are met. After inspection, you can board the outlying island.
4. From August 15th, the boarding and outlying island inspection policy will be announced separately after evaluation and research.
5. The stranded passengers who have one of the following conditions will not return for the time being: positive infection; close contacts and close contacts; passengers stranded in medium and high risk areas.

6. In order to facilitate the travel of passengers who have successfully purchased tickets, our city provides free airport shuttle services in major hotels in the city. Please pay attention to the relevant notices in the hotels.
