Dozens of women's and youth organizations and associations responded to the CNRD's invitation to present their grievances at the People's Palace. Particularly exposed to gender-based violence and discrimination, women mainly demand the effective application of laws intended to protect them and much greater involvement in state and economic affairs.

"

Studies have shown that the participation of women at the state level, at the company level, allows a better result,"

says Maimouna Diakhaby, secretary general of the Federation of Young Women of Guinea.

Given that we are half heaven, as Sankara said, we would like there to be parity at the level of government, that there be equal opportunities in the field of work, whether for women in the markets up to government level.

For a National Youth Council

Young people, who represent the majority of the population, believe they have always been manipulated and neglected by politicians. To put an end to this idleness, the executive director of the Club of young girls leaders of Guinea, Kadiatou Konaté, pleads for the creation of a national council: "

I think that we have largely come back to the question, for the youth organizations. , we are not federated. So obtaining a framework for consultation is obtaining a National Youth Council. In the sub-region, almost all countries have a National Youth Council which carries the voice of young people, except Guinea.

"

While waiting for the installation of the transitional government, the president of the CNRD is reassuring, promising new blood and that there will be no recycling of the usual state dignitaries.
