Fifth wave of Covid in France: "The dramatic problem is happening to hospitals"

The Christmas holidays are not in danger because of the fifth wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, the president of the scientific council said this Thursday morning, December 2, ensuring that everything was done to avoid a new containment.
Jean-François Delfraissy also said on BFM TV that the current fight against the pandemic was the fight against the Delta variant.

For scientists, better application of barrier gestures, associated with vaccination, could allow the hospital system to cope with the fifth wave.
