  According to the Nansha District Government, in 2019, Guangzhou Nansha was approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security to hire Hong Kong and Macao labor and personnel dispute arbitrators for the first time nationwide.

On September 18, 2019, Guangzhou Nansha successfully appointed the first batch of 7 Hong Kong and Macau arbitrators (including 5 from Hong Kong and 2 from Macau). The first appointment period was two years.

The first appointment period expired in September 2021. After the Nansha Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Commission carried out procedures to evaluate the performance of their duties and consult Hong Kong and Macao arbitrators for reappointment, it was decided to re-appoint all seven Hong Kong and Macao arbitrators.

  At present, all hired Hong Kong and Macao arbitrators have performed their duties in accordance with the law and participated in handling cases. Hong Kong and Macao arbitrators have participated in handling 15 labor dispute cases involving Hong Kong and Macao.
