This limited amount of sulfur dioxide is safe and harmless to enter the human body.

Experimental studies have shown that the sulfur dioxide residue degrades with the extension of storage time, and the degradation rate for 12 months is 32.14%—86.11%; after using star anise to cook food such as bones and pig feet in daily life, the sulfur dioxide degradation rate can reach 97% the above.
