Chinanews.com, Liuzhou, July 27 (Lin Xin) "Donating to save people is the same as working to rescue the wounded. It is the instinct of a medical worker." Xiaoli (pseudonym), a "post-95" nurse in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, on the 27th Express.
A few days ago, Xiaoli donated 176 milliliters of hematopoietic stem cell plasma suspension at Liuzhou Workers' Hospital.
On the same day, the Liuzhou Red Cross Society held a condolences ceremony for Liuzhou hematopoietic stem cell donors for Xiaoli, and gave him flowers and medals to encourage him to act in good faith.
Xiaoli was born in 1998 and became a nurse in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Liuzhou in 2019.
Xiaoli said: "On weekdays, most of the patients admitted to the department are in serious conditions, and they also see life and death. I especially hope that I can do my best to save the lives of others."

In June 2020, Xiaoli participated in the voluntary blood donation activity organized by the unit and joined the China Bone Marrow Bank as a hematopoietic stem cell volunteer.
"At that time, I didn't know much about donating hematopoietic stem cells. I only knew that it could save the lives of some patients and decided to register."
What Xiaoli didn't expect was that after less than a year of registration, his match was successful.
"In May of this year, I received a call and learned that I was successfully matched with the patient. At that time, I felt very lucky to succeed so quickly." Xiaoli said.
After hanging up, Xiaoli immediately discussed with his family, and then got the support of his parents.
After several months of preparation, on July 26, Xiaoli donated 176 ml of hematopoietic stem cell plasma suspension, becoming the 11736th donor of the China Bone Marrow Bank.
"I didn't feel much when I made the donation, but when the donation was completed, I felt very honored to learn that a child's life could be saved." Xiaoli said.
She said that in the future, she will continue to do a good job of rescuing the wounded and devote more love.
