  On the other hand, before the two parties reached an agreement, the Taliban agreed to release 1,000 Afghan soldiers and the Afghan government will release 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

However, France and Australia opposed the release of six Taliban prisoners who participated in the killing of their nationals.

  Currently, the six prisoners have been transferred to Doha.

On the 10th local time, Taliban spokesperson Naim Wodak said in a statement that six Taliban prisoners arrived in Qatar not long ago and are in good health.

  According to previous reports, the talks between Afghanistan and the Taliban were originally scheduled to be held in March, but the two sides were unable to reach a consensus on the exchange of prisoners and have been postponed so far.
