Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City announced on the 23rd that 15 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 9431 people were infected in Gifu prefecture.
Gifu Prefecture also announced that a woman in her 70s in Hashima City, who had been infected and hospitalized, died on the 22nd.
This brings the death toll in Gifu Prefecture to 188.
