Bayern Munich sealed their 30th German title on Saturday with a 4-0 victory at Wolfsburg and received the winner's trophy in the empty stadium. Dortmund, Leipzig and Mönchengladbach will accompany him next season in the Champions League.

The Bundesliga is the first major league to end its season, relaunched in mid-May after two months off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Paderborn and Düsseldorf descend to the second division and Bremen, miraculous on Saturday (6-1 victory against Cologne while Düsseldorf lost 3-0 to Berlin against the Union), will play off against the third of the second division.

Mönchengladbach, who was two points ahead of Leverkusen before kick-off, did not tremble to beat Hertha Berlin 2-1 and thus confirm his fourth place, synonymous with access to the lucrative Champions League. An essential bonus in this closed-door match season, which put a strain on club finances.
