On June 12, with the completion of the last section of 500-meter long track, the Guangdong section of the Gan (zhou)-Shenzhen (Shenzhen) high-speed rail was successfully connected to the Jiangxi section in Xiache Town and Yicun, Heping County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. The laying of the main track of the Shenzhen-Shenzhen high-speed rail line has been completed, laying a solid foundation for the smooth opening to traffic at the end of the year.

The Jiangxi-Shenzhen High-speed Railway is the southernmost section of the China-Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway in China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway planning network. The line has a total length of 436.37 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is coordinated and constructed by the Shenzhen Engineering Construction Headquarters of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group.
