Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 31st that it was confirmed that 504 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day has exceeded 500 since May 16th, which is the fifth highest number in the past.
The number of people increased by 405 from Saturday a week ago, surpassing the same day of the previous week for 15 consecutive days.
The breakdown is
▼ Fukuoka City with 280 people,
▼ Kitakyushu City with 35 people, and
▼ Kurume City with 30 people.
A total of 39,370 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
On the other hand, it was found that 119 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
