Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 29th that it was confirmed that 366 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of people increased by 228 from Thursday a week ago, surpassing the same day of the previous week for 13 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 214 in Fukuoka City, 33 in Kitakyushu City, and 15 in Kurume City.
A total of 38,388 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
On the other hand, it was found that 97 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
