Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 28th that it was confirmed that 405 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It is the first time since May 19th that the number of infected people in Fukuoka prefecture exceeds 400 per day.
The number increased by 269 from Wednesday a week ago, surpassing the same day of the previous week for 12 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 255 in Fukuoka City, 38 in Kitakyushu City, and 13 in Kurume City.
A total of 38,022 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
On the other hand, it was found that 74 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
