Pre-registration for the COVID-19 vaccine for the 50-54 years old (born 1967-1971) is in progress, and anyone in their 50s can make a reservation for four days from the evening of today (21st).

According to the Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team, those 50 to 54 years old can make a reservation from 8 pm today to 6 pm on the 24th.

Even those aged 55 to 59 can make reservations by 6 pm on the 24th, so anyone in their 50s who have not made a reservation for the next four days can choose the vaccination date and institution.

As of noon yesterday, 81827 people (53.9%) out of 1.55,74 people who made a reservation in advance the day before (19th) were counted.

The vaccination period for 50-54 years old is 13 days from the 16th to the 28th of the following month.

Those aged 55-59 years old will receive the first dose from the 26th to the 14th of the next month, and additional reservations and vaccinations are possible between August 16-28, the 50-54 year old inoculation period.

Those aged 55 to 59 who have made a reservation in advance will receive the Moderna vaccine in the first week (7.26 to 31), but those in metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon will receive the Pfizer vaccine.

However, in the metropolitan area consigned medical institutions (251 places) that only inoculate Moderna vaccine, it is planned to inoculate Moderna vaccine as an exception.

Those who have made a reservation in advance will be individually notified of the type of vaccine before the inoculation date.
