Those who travel to the Mainland or Macau from Hong Kong ports must, in addition to holding the required certificate of negative nucleic acid test results at their own expense, also undergo an additional free rapid PCR nucleic acid test at the immigration control point before leaving Hong Kong, and the result is negative You can continue your journey.
The SAR government will provide the above-mentioned special testing services free of charge from one hour before the opening of the travel inspection building at the relevant immigration control point to one hour before the closing of the travel inspection building.
The current passenger clearance service hours at Shenzhen Bay Immigration Control Point and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Immigration Control Point are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm respectively.
Passengers should check the latest opening hours of relevant immigration control points before travelling.
A spokesman for the SAR government said that the rapid PCR nucleic acid test procedure takes about one to two hours. Relevant outbound passengers should allow sufficient time to arrive at the immigration control point and follow the instructions of the staff present to conduct the test, so as to ensure that the negative test results are obtained. Sufficient time to complete the clearance procedure.
The spokesman reminded that the relevant passengers are still subject to the quarantine and testing arrangements at the destination.
They should pay attention to the latest quarantine requirements in the Mainland and Macau and make corresponding preparations.
The SAR Government is also studying the arrangement of requiring passengers travelling to the Mainland to undergo additional rapid PCR nucleic acid testing at the Hong Kong International Airport accordingly. Details will be announced in due course.
