[Explanation] Li Suyun, 36 years old this year, is a villager in Shounan Village, Shoushansi Township, Guantao County. She and her husband are both disabled and have four children in the family. Before contact with food paintings, the family had few sources of income and a heavy burden of living.

In the past, I could only take care of my children at home. During the slack season, my husband worked outside and had very limited income. It was very difficult to buy new clothes for my children during the New Year.

In 2018, our county organized the disabled to learn about food painting production. I really like this kind of work. It can be done by sitting while taking care of the children at home every day, relying on my own hands and earning a good income.

[Explanation] According to Li Suyun, when she first started learning grain painting, she didn't have the background in painting, so it took about a month to complete a grain painting.

At that time, she spent most of her energy on studying food painting, and she didn't even have time to take care of her children.

Slowly through the teacher's guidance and hard practice by himself, Li Suyun gradually mastered the skills of making grain paintings.

It is difficult to process the raw materials of grain paintings. Generally, after washing, fumigating, sterilizing, roasting, soaking and other processes, the purpose of anti-corrosion is achieved, so that the grain paintings made can be preserved for a long time.

Because of (my) inconvenience, such a cumbersome process is difficult to complete.

[Explanation] Li Suyun said that although the process of learning grain painting is difficult, she is proud of it.

During this process, what she felt most deeply was not the increase in family income, but the increase in her self-confidence.

"Life Is Not Accepted" is Li Suyun's favorite work. This is Li Suyun's first finished grain painting. It mainly uses black rice as the main material and took about ten days to complete.

After the work was completed, I hung it at the door of the studio, and I had to take a look at it every morning when I walked in.

Watching it every day, I have to tell myself that I can't admit my fate, can't admit defeat, and make the studio look like!

This painting is the driving force for me to move forward, and it has also witnessed my every step out of poverty!

[Explanation] Now, with the help of the town, Li Suyun has established his own grain painting studio.

At the end of 2019, Li Suyun launched a live webcast to broadcast grain paintings online. Many netizens liked her grain paintings very much and ordered them from her.

Through the webcast, she not only sold her own food paintings, but also made many friends.

The webcast has exposed me to a larger world and made me confident in the future.

In the next step, I will do a good job of painting food, and at the same time earnestly delve into live broadcast delivery, hoping to take advantage of this great time, to take the road to wealth, and make life better.
