“In accordance with the resolution of Rospotrebnadzor and the order of the Ministry of Health, the treatment period for patients with COVID-19 is reduced to seven days,” the capital’s operational headquarters for controlling and monitoring the situation with coronavirus said in a statement.

It is noted that Muscovites will be able to exit the regime of self-isolation after seven days from the date of confirmation of the coronavirus disease in the absence of symptoms.

Residents of the capital who fell ill before February 6 must observe the isolation regime until the 14th day.

Earlier it became known that in Russia, in accordance with the decision of the chief state sanitary doctor, isolation for those who had contact with coronavirus patients was canceled.
