Therese Johaug, who was suspended for doping between October 18, 2016 and April 18, 2018, set a personal record of 10,000 meters at Bislett in Oslo yesterday.

- If you have done something wrong in society at large, you can go back to work when the punishment is served. And so it has to do with seriousness and feeling. In my opinion, there is no problem with inviting Therese Johaug. I take that responsibility, said the competition leader at Bislett, Steinar Hoen, to VG about Johaug's participation.

"Bad advertising for our sport"

Stockholm's Diamond League gala will be held on Sunday, August 23. However, she is not welcome there, says competition manager Jan Kowalski for SVT Sport.

- We cannot intervene in what the Norwegians do, but we are generally against the fact that those who have been turned off for anabolic steroids belong in a competition arena. We think they make bad publicity for our sport, says Bauhausgalan's competition manager Jan Kowalski to SVT Sport.

"Therese has thrown her way"

Swedish skiing star Frida Karlsson believes that Johaug has served his sentence. She defends the Norwegian.

- She gets to compete in cross-country skiing - then she should compete in running as well. Therese, after all, has stood his ground, says Karlsson to Expressen.
