On Thursday and Friday, SVT broadcasts the roller ski competition Alliansloppet from Trollhättan. Almost the entire Swedish ski elite is in place and there will be two races with interval start. On Thursday, the ladies drive 10 kilometers and the men 15 kilometers. After that, the back sprint will be decided on Friday.

Charlotte Kalla, Frida Karlsson, Calle Halfvarsson and Viktor Thorn are some of those who will be present.

Frida Karlsson has had a good training summer and is making an interesting start in the Alliance race.

- The last time I was on the starting line with a real number tag was in Holmenkollen, so it's been a while. It will be fun to do it again, even if it is a completely different thing on roller skis. But it will be fun to challenge my teammates after a long competition break, says Karlsson to SVT Sport.

A big profile that does not start in Trollhättan is Ebba Andersson, who after a fall on roller skis has a broken finger.

- It would of course have been great fun to once again get the chance to compete, but due to this small injury I am simply not ready for it, Andersson has messed to SVT Sport.

Hanna Falk also gives up the Alliance race, in the wake of a back injury.

Thorn at "home"

For Viktor Thorn, who comes from Bengtsfors in Dalsland and competes for Ulricehamn, it will be a little extra special to compete in Trollhättan.

- Fun to compete again and also do it in beautiful Trollhättan. I think it will be a good event. In addition, it is almost a bit at home because I grew up only an hour and a half from here, says the 24-year-old to SVT Sport.

In 2019, Thorn had severe back problems and was operated on twice for herniated discs, but now he hopes to be injury-free. Just like for the other Swedish riders, the season's big goal is to take a place in the WC squad.

In the ski broadcast on Friday, there will also be entry from the Swedish Championships in roller biathlon from Dala-Järna. Even there, the entire Swedish elite is in place, except Stina Nilsson who is injured.
