On Wednesday, when Dejan Kulusevski's Juventus are visited by Dinamo Kiev for a group match in the tournament, it is Frappart who is responsible as the referee.
This is not the first time 36-year-old Stéphanie Frappart has written history.
In 2019, she became the first woman to referee a match in the French top league for men when she refereed the match between Amiens and Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
She has also refereed the Super Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea.
In October 2020, she made her debut in the Europa League.
