Kindergartens, elementary schools and middle and high schools will be closed for 3-4 weeks, including a two-week holiday starting on April 12.

Starting from April 26, elementary and kindergarten classes will resume, and middle and high schools will continue to teach remotely for a week.

Castel cited travel conditions across regions, including "family reasons", such as accompanying parents, grandparents, or picking up children.

The parliament of the Paris region, Pequeres, said that early spring break is "necessary", but parents need to cooperate.
