Already hacked in the north-east of Paris on the evening of the first round of the presidential election, the broadcast of France Inter was again disrupted on Sunday evening, when the results of the second round were announced.

This time, it is over a larger territory that public radio programs have been replaced by a conspiratorial message.

France Inter hacked for the second time in two weeks.

On April 10, when the results of the first round of the presidential election were announced, the public radio station had been hacked for more than an hour on FM frequencies in the northeast of Paris.

A speech directed against politicians and technocrats was then broadcast on a loop.

The hacking was repeated on Sunday evening, when the results of the second round were announced, over a wider territory: France Inter was hacked in the east of Paris, in Lyon, in Rennes and in Nantes.

An investigation is underway to determine if other cities were affected by this disruption which lasted an hour.

A false speech by Emmanuel Macron

The radio station told Agence France Presse that it had been alerted by a series of tweets from listeners.

Several Internet users, including Radio France journalist Margot Caroff, tweeted the sound that was broadcast during this antenna jamming: it was a montage of past speeches by Emmanuel Macron which aimed to divert presidential speech.

The management of Radio France affirmed that it was currently in contact with Arcom (ex-CSA) to verify what happened.

For the moment, no information has been claimed or communicated on the authors of this hack.
