Paris and other places officially imposed a curfew on the same day in response to the rebound of the epidemic.
According to the epidemic data released by the French Ministry of Health that evening, the number of newly confirmed cases in France exceeded 32,000 in a single day on the 17th, reaching 32,427.
The total number of confirmed cases in France exceeded 860,000 that day, reaching 867,197.
The data shows that the spread of the virus is still accelerating.
