As noted in the department, the accident occurred in the Bolotninsky district on the 129th km of the P-255 "Siberia" highway.
“The 52-year-old driver of the Toyota Noah minibus, traveling from Novosibirsk towards the city of Bolotnoye, under unknown circumstances, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a passenger bus following the Tomsk-Barnaul route,” they said.
According to preliminary information, a Toyota driver, a nine-year-old girl, a four-year-old boy and a woman of unknown age were killed.
Two more passengers of the minibus were taken to the hospital.
“None of the citizens who were in the regular bus were injured,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Earlier in Mari El there was an accident involving an ambulance, five people were injured.
