In late January, State Epidemiologist Anders Tegnell said he believed and hoped that the Chinese efforts would put an end to the corona virus. Shortly thereafter, the first case was confirmed in Sweden - and just a month later many Stockholmers went on a skiing holiday in the Italian Alps, and brought the virus home.

Just over four months since Anders Tegnell's first statement, over 2,000 Swedes have died with covid-19, a large part of whom have lived in elderly homes where the infection has taken place.

At 21 o'clock in the evening, Anders Tegnell visits the studio to tell how Sweden faced the crisis, and what could have been done differently.
