All four candidates for the next president selected by the Prosecutor General's Candidate Recommendation Committee are incumbent prosecutors.

These are the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office Director Kim Hu-gon, the Judicial Research and Training Institute Director Yeo Hwan-seop, the Daejeon High Prosecutor Lee Du-bong, and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lee Won-seok.

Kim Hu-gon, chief of the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office, is an evaluation that the trust of junior prosecutors is strong by leading opposition opinions within the prosecutor's office during the revision of the Prosecutor's Office Act.

Yeo Hwan-seop, director of the Legal Research and Training Institute, the oldest among the candidates, is a special adviser.

The strength of the two is that they can avoid criticism of "the prosecution's taking care of Yoon's division" because the color of 'pro-Yun Seok-yeol' is pale.

Daejeon High Prosecutor Lee Du-bong, who is evaluated as the Yoon Seok-yeol division, was recognized for his competence by directing the investigation into the suspected Wolsong Unit 1 nuclear power plant case during his time as chief of the Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor Won-seok Lee, who has been leading the prosecution organization for three months as acting Prosecutor General, is known as Minister Han Dong-hoon and a classmate of the training institute, and President Yoon's trust is strong.

Kim Jin-tae, chairman of the Prosecutor General's Candidate Recommendation Committee, said, "Votes were concentrated on four out of nine people selected by the Ministry of Justice.

Minister Han is planning to propose one candidate for president to the president as early as tomorrow.

Candidates for the Prosecutor General will receive a letter of appointment from President Yoon after undergoing a personnel hearing at the National Assembly.
