Former Supreme Court Justice Kwon Soon-il, who is suspected of violating the Attorney Act by serving as an advisor at Hwacheon Daeyu, which is suspected of preferential treatment for the Daejang-dong development project in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, donated all of the remuneration received at the time to an organization for the disabled.

Former Supreme Court Justice Kwon visited the Korea Autism Society and donated 150 million won yesterday (23rd).

It is known that the amount was the full amount of the remuneration that former Supreme Court Justice Kwon received while working as an advisor to Hwacheon Daeyu.

In the legal circle, as suspicions of 'Hwacheon Daeyu preferential treatment' grew, there are speculations that former Supreme Court Justice Kwon felt a burden and donated all his remuneration.

Former Supreme Court Justice Kwon explained that he was legally tortured at the time and was unaware of allegations of preferential treatment for development.

Former Supreme Court Justice Kwon was reported to have received 15 million won a month as an advisor to Hwacheon Daeyu without registering as a lawyer after retiring from his office in September last year.

Former Supreme Court Justice Kwon previously issued an acquittal opinion when the Supreme Court's all-inclusive panel overturned and remanded Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung's case of violating the Public Official Election Act in July of last year.
