Former Prime Minister Abe died after being shot by a gun while giving a speech to support the Upper House election in Nara City on the 8th, and returned home silently at his home in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo on the afternoon of the 9th.



Many condolences visited from the morning of the 10th, and executives of both parties, including Secretary General Motegi of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vice President Aso, and Representative Yamaguchi of the Komeito Party, mourned the death.

In addition, people who had a close relationship with Mr. Abe during his lifetime, such as Chairman Sasakawa of the Nippon Foundation and Honorary Chairman Sakakibara of Keidanren, also visited.



Mr. Abe's funeral will be held on the 12th only by relatives and close associates.

U.S. Ambassador to Japan Emmanuel also condolences

Ambassador to Japan Emmanuel of the United States also visited the home of former Prime Minister Abe in Tokyo for about 15 minutes from 3:00 pm on the 10th.



On the 8th, when former Prime Minister Abe died, Ambassador Emmanuel mourned by posting on Twitter, saying, "The United States has lost a reliable partner and a strong advocate of the philosophy shared by Japan and the United States."



Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Japan on the 11th to express his condolences from the US government.
