Former football player of "Spartak" and the Russian national team Kulkov dies

It is noted that on October 10, Kulkov was supposed to undergo a planned operation due to oncology, but died in intensive care.

Before that, he had had a coronavirus.

Kulkov played for Spartak from 1989 to 1991 and from 1995 to 1997.

Together with the team, he became the champion of the USSR and Russia.

He is also known for playing for Portuguese Benfica and Porto, St. Petersburg Zenit and Samara's Krylia Sovetov.

For the Russian national team, Kulkov played 21 matches and scored five goals.
