The sentence was confirmed when former Busan Mayor Oh Keo-don, who was sentenced to three years in prison in the first trial following the first trial on charges of sexual assault, etc., gave up the appeal.

According to the legal community, Mayor Oh's side abandoned the appeal to the Supreme Court after the decision of the appeals court held at the Busan High Court on the 9th.

The prosecution also did not file an appeal within the period.

As a result, Mayor Oh was sentenced to three years in prison, which was sentenced by the appeals court, to complete 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment program, and to be restricted from employment at child and youth facilities and welfare facilities for the disabled for five years.

In November and December 2018, Mayor Oh Jeon, a member of the Democratic Party, forcibly molested an employee of Busan City Hall, and in April 2020, molested another employee, Mr. B, in the mayor's office, causing injuries such as post-traumatic stress disorder to this employee. He was convicted and sentenced to three years in prison at the first trial and on appeal.
