Former Al-Ain star: I'd rather sit at home than play for Zamalek

Former Al-Ain and Al-Ahly Egyptian player Hussein Al-Shahat confirmed that he has several offers to leave Al-Ahmar in the upcoming summer transfers, speaking of the possibility of moving to Zamalek if he receives an offer from Al-Abyad.

Al-Shahat told "MBC Egypt" that he prefers to sit at home if he receives an offer to play in Zamalek, indicating that he respects the "white" fans, but stressed that the idea of playing for the traditional competitor for Al-Ahly is completely excluded for him.

He indicated that he had offers from South African Sun Downs and some Saudi and Emirati clubs, which he refused to disclose.
