"According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day in Russia, five forest fires have been liquidated on an area of 113 hectares," RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.
It is specified that by midnight on October 26, there was one forest fire in Russia on an area of less than one hectare, which was actively extinguished.
Earlier, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources said that the fire season was declared closed in Udmurtia.
