With its taller grille and redesigned headlights, the front end of the Ford Fiesta 2022 is an aesthetic achievement. Inside, the big news is the appearance of an 8-inch central screen placed on the dashboard which gives access to the functions of the infotainment system. This facelift is also an opportunity for the Fiesta to stock up on new technologies such as LED headlights, digital instrumentation, a system called Wrong Way Alert 1 which warns the driver when he is in the wrong direction, the cruise control adaptive, road sign recognition or parking assistance.
Under the hood, the 1.0 Ecoboost unit receives an average 48V hybridization in its 125 and 155 hp versions.
And let's not forget the fun: best little bomb in its class, the Fiesta ST has not been forgotten.
Its power remains at 200 hp, but its torque goes from 290 to 320 Nm, which will therefore make it a little more explosive when exiting a corner.
The Fiesta 2022 is expected to hit the market early next year.
