Food and beverage prices rose 0.31% in Dubai during the third week of Ramadan

The Dubai Statistics Center reported that the food and beverage price index for the food and beverage section increased by 0.31% during the third week of Ramadan compared to the second week of the same month.

The center stated, in a report yesterday, that this came as a result of the increase in the prices of each of: the fish and seafood group by 1.79%, the tea, coffee and cocoa group by 1.47%, the fruit group by 1.28%, the vegetables group by 0.21%, and the meat group by 0.04%. And a group of mineral water, soft drinks and juices by 0.03%.

He pointed out that, on the other hand, the prices of each group decreased by 0.40%, the oils and fats group by 0.25%, and the milk, cheese and eggs group by 0.07%, while the prices of each of: the group of bread and grains and their products, and the group of Sugar, jam, honey, chocolates, and sweets are still stable compared to last week.
