Flooding due to heavy rain occurred at 116 locations in 101 rivers (at 1 pm on 11th) 20:51 on 11th July

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, this series of heavy rainfall floods occurred at 116 rivers in 101 prefectures in 12 prefectures such as Kyushu and Tokai at 1 pm on the 11th.

Of these rivers, which are managed by the national government
, 13 floods have occurred in the Kuma River, and in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, two levee collapses have been confirmed.

Furthermore, on the evening of the 10th, there was a new flood in the Yoshino River in Higashimiyoshi Town, Tokushima Prefecture.

It is said that this includes "inland flooding" in which rainwater drainage cannot catch up due to the high water level of the river, and water overflows from the drainage channel to the residential area and is flooded.
