Bird research experts say this is the largest migratory population of red-headed gulls observed in the Chongqing section of the Yangtze River in the past decade.
Experts said that migratory birds generally choose the most suitable channel for migration. This year, the Chongqing section of the Yangtze River has become a foothold for a large number of red-headed gulls, which to a certain extent indicates that the ecological environment of the local waters has been continuously improved.
