First Saudi Girl in Formula 3: Male drivers try to test my ability

Rima Al-Juffali, the first Saudi female driver in the Formula 3 car race, said: "I face many challenges and I try to overcome and overcome them, as some drivers try to test the extent of my ability and skill on the race track," after her participation in the inaugural round of the Formula 3 British BRDC Championship .

The young driver expressed in press statements that her goal is to finish her next race and get a place in the first ten places, stressing that "the amount of pressure that I endure during direct confrontations, I consider it one of the normal things that all contestants are exposed to, regardless of gender. I am confident of my high ability to Competition and dealing with all pressures and challenges during the race. "

The 29-year-old Jeddah-born driver performed strongly during her first race in the 2021 season at Brands Hatch as she witnessed her first presence in the championship.

As the only driver among the ranks of the competitors for the title of this championship, Al Juffali's participation and performance in the tournament attracts wide attention, and she is naturally happy for her role in breaking barriers within this sport that has long been dominated by the male component.

Al-Juffali continues her quest to achieve her dream in the world of racing. Later in 2018, she participated for the first time in professional races, while 2019 saw her move to the Formula 4 category in Britain and the United Arab Emirates.

Rima announced earlier this year that she would join Douglas Motorsport to participate in the British Formula 3 BRDC Championship, and after her participation in the first round of thrilling races, she is ready to take the competition to the next level.

“The return to racing competition was a wonderful thing,” explains Rima.

She added, "The race week holiday witnessed the presence of my family and friends and their presence next to me, and this is important to me, and I am now looking forward to my parents' presence in the upcoming races. My family and friends provide me with an indispensable moral support."
