According to the balance of payments statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, the current account balance in February was a surplus of 2,916.9 billion yen, showing how much Japan earned through trade and investment with foreign countries.
The surplus amount decreased by 143.6 billion yen from the same month of the previous year.
