“Farewell to Leonid Aronovich Shvartsman will take place on July 5 at the Cinema House at 12:40, after which a burial will take place in the village of Zarechye, Kirzhachsky District,” Soyuzmultfilm studio told RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the funeral ceremony will take place before farewell at 11:00 in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Novaya Sloboda on Dolgorukovskaya Street.
Earlier it became known that Shvartsman died at the age of 101.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin expressed deep condolences on the death of the animator.
