Färjestad's gold heroes say no to the WC: "We would have liked to have seen the two"

Linus Johansson and Jacob de la Rose were key players when Färjestad on Thursday secured the club's tenth Swedish Championship gold.

They were conceivable reinforcements for Tre Kronor's World Cup squad, but will not come.

- Linus Johansson received a blow to the head (in the final), so he has refused.

De la Rose has played with an injury, so he has also refused, says Garpenlöv.

Both were in the Olympics and also wanted in the World Cup squad.

They have played the Olympics and are good characters both on the ice and outside, says the national team captain.

In the World Cup premiere against Austria, Sweden played with three chains to wait for any reinforcements.

Luleå's Linus Omark has previously turned down World Cup games.
