According to trade statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, exports last month and September increased by 13% from the same month last year, increasing for the seventh straight month.

On the other hand, the import value increased by 38.6% compared to the same month last year due to the rise in crude oil prices.

As a result, last month's trade balance, which is exports minus imports, was a deficit of 622.8 billion yen, the second consecutive month of trade deficit.
