The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport imposed a fine of 880 million won on Jeju Air for flying without properly checking the damage to the wing or fuselage of the aircraft during take-off and landing.
Jeju Air was found to have flew back to Gimpo without confirming that the auxiliary wing was damaged while landing at Gimhae Airport on March 10th.
