Best time in her semi-final on Saturday, Pigrée won ahead of the Italian Silvia Scalia (27.53) and the Dutch Maaike De Waard (27.54), the two other favorites, separated by only one hundredth at the finish.
Mary-Ambre Moluh, the second Frenchwoman entered in the Final, had to settle for 6th place.
