The two men have been sentenced to 18 years in prison for a murder in Sundsvall, but managed to stay away from the punishment - until they were arrested in western Värmland last autumn, suspected of, among other things, robbery against three grocery stores in western Sweden.

The men, who are in their 30s, are now sentenced together with several other people for, among other things, robbery, aggravated weapon crime and theft.

Skaraborg District Court sentences the two men to another five years in prison each.

More are convicted of the robberies

They had previously been convicted of a fatal shooting in Sundsvall in 2019. The Court of Appeal ruled in January 2021, but the men had previously been acquitted in the district court and stayed away from the police.

A third man was sentenced to four years for, among other things, the three robberies, while two women were sentenced to two years in prison each for, among other things, aiding and abetting the robbery.

One man is sentenced to a suspended sentence for money laundering, while two people are acquitted of the same crime.
