Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - The Federal Employment Agency will provide information on the current effects of the corona pandemic on the training market in Saxony on Wednesday (12.15 p.m.) in Chemnitz.

According to the latest data from the end of March, the number of applicants as well as the number of registered training positions has declined.

Accordingly, there are around 14,500 applicants in the Free State of almost 15,600 apprenticeships - a decrease of 9.8 or 3.3 percent compared to the previous year.

In purely mathematical terms, there is still an apprenticeship position for every potential apprentice.

In addition to the analysis by the regional directorate, the situation should also be examined from the perspective of schoolchildren and entrepreneurs.
