"Blackmail at work". This was denounced Tuesday in Toulouse a hundred employees of Derichebourg, an aeronautical subcontractor, in particular Airbus. With the coronavirus crisis, this sector was hit hard and saw a huge drop in activity.

According to the demonstrators, “the management announced on May 6 that it envisaged a PSE (plan of safeguarding of employment), with 700 redundancies. And before that, an APC (collective performance agreement) which suppresses social benefits, "said Tuesday Boris Escaich, of the UNSA union.

The CPA consists of making efforts, often on wages and achievements, and thus reducing the number of job cuts.

13th month and bonuses

“The concern is enormous, and anger is mounting, the Derichebourg group has 2.7 billion in turnover, we don't understand. Especially since a plan to help aeronautics must be announced soon by the government, ”continues the unionist.

The UNSA and CGC unions are opposed to the CPA. On the other hand, the majority FO union is in favor. According to union sources, the management has put on the negotiating table the abolition of the 13th month, of allowances and bonuses. Questioned by AFP, the management of Derichebourg did not respond to its requests.

Economy

Faced with the air gap in the air sector, how does the State intend to help the aeronautics sector to avoid a crash?
