Emirates Airlines has announced an investment of more than two billion US dollars (7.3 billion dirhams) to enhance the experience of its customers on board, including the implementation of a huge program starting in 2022 to modernize the interior designs of more than 120 aircraft, in addition to implementing improvements to other services. Some of Emirates' latest initiatives include better meal options, an all-new vegetarian menu, an "in the air cinema" experience, cabin upgrades and sustainable options.

According to the statement, the award-winning team of chefs, with a global in-flight catering team and a diverse array of suppliers, have joined forces to design and deliver the ultimate in luxury dining experience in the air.

The airline has partnered with École Hotelier de Lausanne, one of the best hospitality management schools in the world, to formulate the airline's hospitality strategy.

Emirates Airlines noted that the most important investment is a comprehensive renovation of the fleet's interior designs, which will be equipped with new or re-upholstered seats, new facades and floors and other features.
