Eighteen Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, announced that tomorrow, Monday, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, according to official data, while 3 other countries are exploring the Shawwal crescent this evening, Sunday.
This comes as 14 Arab countries decided to allow Eid al-Fitr prayers to be performed in mosques and squares without health restrictions linked to the Corona virus, while the Sultanate of Oman stipulated obtaining the vaccine.
During the past two years, the Eid al-Fitr prayer witnessed restrictions due to Corona measures, which amounted to restricting its stay in homes, but with its lifting in some countries and easing in others, it is being held this year with a remarkable expansion and without restrictions for the first time in two years.
The Saudi Royal Court stated that today, Sunday, is the completion of the month of Ramadan (it started on the second of last April) after it was not possible to see the crescent of the month of Shawwal, and tomorrow Monday is the beginning of the month of Shawwal, corresponding to the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
This is the same position announced by the Yemeni endowments and their counterparts in Qatar and Somalia, the Sunni Endowment Bureau in Iraq, the Kuwaiti Sharia Vision Board, and the Crescent Investigation Committee in the Emirates, according to separate official statements.

And the Mufti of Jordan, Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced in a televised interview today, Sunday, that the sighting of the Shawwal crescent was investigated by experts and specialists, and its sighting has been proven with the naked eye.
The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Bahrain, the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Sudan, the Jurisprudence Scientific Council of the Syrian regime, and the Libyan Dar al-Iftaa announced that tomorrow, Monday, is the first day of Eid al-Fitr, according to data.
And the first Eid al-Fitr will come in Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon and Tunisia tomorrow as well, according to data issued by the Mufti of Palestine Muhammad Hussein, and his Egyptian counterparts Shawky Allam, the Lebanese Abdel Latif Derian, and the Tunisian Othman Batikh.

In Algeria, the Crescent Committee of the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that tomorrow, Monday, will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr, while the Central Committee for Crescent Monitoring in Mauritania also announced that it had not reached evidence of the sighting of the Shawwal crescent, and therefore Sunday is the complement to the month of Ramadan.
In Palestine, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, announced that today, Sunday, is the completion of the month of Ramadan, and that Monday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
The Grand Mufti of Tunisia, Othman Batikh, announced tomorrow, Monday, the first day of the month of Shawwal.
While the Sultanate of Oman, Morocco and the Comoros are exploring the Shawwal crescent on Sunday evening, considering that the Ramadan crescent appeared in those countries on the second of last April, in violation of most of the Arab countries that preceded it.
The Shiites of Iraq also monitor the crescent on Sunday evening, considering that they began fasting Ramadan one day after the start of the year in their country, which is what has been the practice in Iraq for years.
While Djibouti did not issue a position regarding the crescent of Eid al-Fitr until nine o'clock in the evening GMT on Sunday evening.
