Egypt is officially moving to return the body of the artist’s sister, Suhair Al-Morshedy, from Japan

The Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, Ambassador Nabila Makram, revealed the start of quick and immediate procedures to return the body of journalist, Zainab Al-Morshedy Montaser, from Japan, who is the sister of the Egyptian artist, Suhair Al-Murshidi.

Makram announced, through her official account on the "Facebook" social networking site, that the body of the late woman arrived in Tokyo today, and that the Egyptian embassy in Japan had completed all paperwork, whether Japanese or Egyptian, and prayed for her soul.

And she continued, noting that the first reservation available on international flights is on the first of next February on Emirates Airlines, due to Japan's precautionary measures and closure policies.

The Minister of State for Immigration in Egypt, Nabila Makram, confirmed that the Egyptian embassy in Japan will take the necessary action in the event of any open reservations before the date of February 1.

The artist, Suheir Al-Murshidi, cried, in statements to the Egyptian satellite channel “Sada Al-Balad”, today, Friday, that she and her family are unable to recover the body of her sister, Zainab Al-Morshedi Montaser, from Japan, stressing that her sister “gave her whole life to the journalistic work, and she was Egyptian to the core and expresses Egypt's free conscience," she said.

Zainab Al-Murshidi died last Wednesday after a struggle with illness in the city of Okayama, which is about 10 hours away from Tokyo by road.
